"USQ 2003 Opera Scenes” Lighting Scenes Blue

In the full stage lighting state "Blue" for the 2003 USQ opera season, you can see a softer color state. Here the set picks up on the warm colors. During the show, scenes were performed from three very different operas. They were to be performed in a static set, the mood of which varied by lighting states alone. This was achieved through painting the whole set in a multi colored spatter pattern which picked up on a variety of lighting states.

My set design also permitted a maximum number of area within which the actors could perform, while also gave the director maximum flexibility to workshop the performance during rehearsals without set design restrictions.
